About us

Why Elevate Life is different

Elevate Life is an initiative of Discovery Trust, registered charity no. 283533. Working in conjunction with specialists from Elevate Eleven, Spurgeon’s Family Services, other child wellbeing-centric organisations and local mental health specialists, Elevate Life’s programmes have been developed to help transform the stories of those young people who struggle with anxiety, isolation and a range of other mental health issues. Our #BeOK programmes are designed to integrate with existing CAMHS provision and the clubs are an inclusive, nurturing and welcoming environment that can help young people in a range of ways. The programmes are deliberately not complicated or ‘specialist’ so may be delivered by non-experts with a passion for young people and willingness to help. Training and materials are provided for those interested. More than anything else young people need to feel believed in and cared for and this is what helps them thrive.

Helping young people to #BeOK

Whilst we recognise that it is ok not to be ok, our Elevate Hubs enable young people to move further towards a place where they can really #BeOK with themselves and their life situations.

As an organisation our principle aim and objective is to help address the needs of struggling children and young people. We do this by running Elevate Hubs (initially started in in SW London and Surrey) but also by offering our downloadable handbook and resources as well as training and support, to enable other interested groups or organisations to run their own Elevate Hubs.

Our Handbook & Programmes

Elevate Life provides guides for schools, youth groups and local authorities to enable the successful running of an Elevate Hub, supporting primary and secondary aged pupils with their mental health and wellbeing. Our key objectives are to provide strategies for relieving anxiety, improving communication and promotion of wellbeing. Elevate Life provides seven programmes, ranging from junior to senior ages as well as a family course, which can be led by a wellbeing practitioner, in conjunction with the pupil and parents.

Meet the team

Elevate Life has grown a team that has developed and run primary, secondary and transition Elevate hubs.
