Elevate Life -
Transforming your Story
Elevate Life is an initiative of Discovery Trust, registered charity no. 283533, that helps to transform the stories of those young people who struggle with anxiety, isolation and a range of other mental health issues. Our #BeOK programmes delivered through our fun and interactive Elevate Hubs use effective interventions, help young people learn coping strategies, promote wellness and enable young people to rewrite their own, sometimes difficult, stories. These programmes are used in conjunction with NHS Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) programmes.
Our Handbook and Programmes
Elevate Life provides seven programmes, covering all junior to senior age groups and includes 12-week prescriptive courses as well as a more relaxed ‘Common Room’ approach and an alternative 8-week version being delivered to Afghan ‘resettlement’ families. Discover the guides for schools, youth groups and local authorities to enable the successful running of an Elevate Hub, supporting primary and secondary aged pupils with their mental health and wellbeing. Early Intervention
Early intervention is key to prevent a decline in mental health. Elevate Life has developed ‘Bags for your life’, a simple and inexpensive resource that enables parents, carers and young people to independently support a friend in need.
